Retinal Camera: Our advanced retinal camera allows for eye exams without dilation, eliminating the discomfort typically experienced at an ophthalmologist’s office. The retina eye exam can be done at Provida, making it easier for those unable to visit a specialist. If any abnormalities are detected, the scan is promptly sent to a retinal specialist for further evaluation.

Detect Retinal Issues

A retina eye exam can detect conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal detachment, cataracts, and hypertensive retinopathy early. Early detection ensures timely treatment and better outcomes, making regular retina exams crucial for preserving your vision.

Significance of Screening

The initial symptoms of many vision conditions are often unnoticeable. Therefore, regular screenings are critical for early detection, enabling prompt treatment, and preventing disease progression.

How Often Should I Get Tested?

Annual screenings are recommended. Consult your physician about the recommended screening regimen for you.

Screening Process with AEYE DS (AEYE-DS)

The AEYE-DS exam is quick and comfortable, taking only 2 minutes. Using a specialized camera, images of your eyes are captured without the need for dilation drops. These images are then analyzed by an FDA-cleared AI for signs of retina disorders.

Understanding the Results

Test results are produced immediately and are either positive or negative:

  • Negative Result: No significant abnormalities were detected. Repeat the screening as recommended by your physician.
  • Positive Result: Signs of potential retinal issues were detected. Speak with your primary care physician about monitoring and treatment options.

Note: AEYE-DS detects specific retinal issues and does not diagnose other eye diseases. An annual retina eye exam with AEYE-DS does not replace regular visits to your eye care specialist for comprehensive eye examinations.
