Provida Family Medicine

COVID-19

We understand that during the pandemic, many of our patients are worried about their health and the health of their families. Provida Family Medicine will continue to offer our full range of services in the best ways possible to ensure your safety, which includes the use of Telehealth technology in place of traditional visits when requested and available.

During these times, our practice has and will continue to follow all CDC sanitation guidelines (i.e.FO completely sterilize all rooms before and after patient visits). We also regularly clean and sanitize our waiting areas and front desk spaces.

While mask wearing had legally been made optional, we encourage you to use a mask for your safety and the safety of our staff during your visit. Children over the age of three (3 years) should also wear a mask.

** COVID TESTING**

Unless your Provida Family Medicine provider orders a test to be done, patients are encouraged to go to their local pharmacy or COVID testing facility to get tested.

If you have any questions about the safety guidelines during your visit, feel free to call us and we will answer any questions you have as well as work with you to make sure your visit is as comfortable and secure as it can be.

For patients who may have been exposed to COVID-19 or feel symptoms such as a fever, difficulty breathing, body aches, and headaches, we encourage our patients to visit their local COVID-19 testing centers or pharmacies for free COVID-19 testing.
